Through her social media, the senator's sister shared a heartfelt message in which she prayed for a miracle and conveyed hope, despite the anguish the family is currently experiencing. "Miguel deserves to live! And we deserve to continue enjoying his love!" she wrote in a post that was quickly shared and commented on by public figures and followers.
Our mother is by your side, with all the angels, watching over you in that hospital bed. She won't leave your side until the miracle happens.
With these words, the politician's sister reaffirmed the faith that sustains the family in this time of uncertainty. " Your entire family is united, on our knees, crying out to God for this miracle we await with all our souls," she wrote.
The post closed with a call to all believers: "To all who believe in miracles, I ask you to pray for one for my brother today." This message quickly went viral, accompanied by the hashtag #FuerzaMiguel, which remains a trending topic on social media.

Tarazona also announced that only the Santa Fe Foundation of Bogotá, where her husband remains hospitalized, will be authorized to issue medical reports. "I ask that you accept and respect our silence," she stated.
The country remains attentive to the senator's medical progress. According to the most recent medical report, Miguel Uribe Turbay is in a critical condition after undergoing head surgery.
The attack occurred in the Modelia neighborhood, in western Bogotá, during a political event. According to authorities, the attack was carried out by a 14-year-old boy using an 18-round Glock pistol. At least nine shots were fired, three of which struck the senator.

In addition to the direct attack, two other people were injured: a young man with a head injury from grazing and a 36-year-old woman who was shot in the body.
The National Police are investigating the possible involvement of a woman between 50 and 60 years old who was captured on video near the minor moments before the attack. Authorities are reviewing recordings from the area to determine whether this person was aware of the attack.
